This is a short 6 minute video of some of the highlights of Hilary's talk about the life of Andrew Carnegie. 

The Carnegie family escaped the poverty of Scotland, and headed for America with  no more than honesty, perseverance and enthusiasm. These characteristics helped his meteoric rise to fame and fortune.

Everybody enjoyed this talk immensely.

Mike Brutons entertaining talk about US - Homo Sapiens, the species that  shows a greater range of cultural differences than any other animal. We are special due to our large, complex brains, our language, and our capacity for abstract reasoning and symbolic thought. These traits have allowed us to thrive, adapt to a wide range of environments, create complex societies, and become the most numerous large animals ever.
