Deepening Relationships
Offered by Hilary Morris
Starting 26 August 2025. Five weeks each Tuesday 26/08 - 23/09/2025
It has been said that the quality of relationships we have with others depends on the quality of the relationship we have with ourselves. As we age, our relationships become increasingly important, be they with family, friends or community. We may reflect more deeply on how we want to be remembered, and what contribution we have made.
This five session course will enable us to reflect not only on the past, and what we have learned, but the present and how we wish to be in the here and now. We may also explore whatever future we have left, and what might we want to do to enrich our own, and the lives of those we love?

Thriving in Retirement - A light-hearted journey through the twists and turns of aging
Offered by Kit Hodge
Starting 1 October 2025. Five weeks each Wednesday 01/10 - 29/10/2025
Retirement and aging are not just about grey hairs, naps and figuring out what day it is. This course is about navigating one of life’s biggest transitions with a little wisdom, a lot of laughter and a cup of tea. This relaxed, community-based, interactive course explores the reality of life’s up and downs of getting older: identity shifts, changing relationships, the search for meaning (and sometimes your glasses) and finding more joy in the everyday. Together we shall reflect, share stories and consider practical tools for staying well in body, mind and spirit, while learning to embrace this season of life with curiosity, compassion and good humour.
